The Magic Numbers series has been successful in developing children's understanding of math through fun and exciting activities that appeal to them. The syllabus progresses at a steady pace and offers various opportunities for applying and recapping different math skills.

Level One starts at the basic fundamentals of math and develops cognitive skills and learner autonomy. It teaches how to write the numbers 1 to 10 in digits,  the basic concepts of counting and the basic principles of addition, using interesting and fun exercises that appeal to children. It includes self-evaluation pages to promote learner independence.

Level Two revises the concepts covered in Level Two and teaches shapes, colours, numbers 11 to 100, subtraction, money, patterns and expands on addition. It also includes self-evaluation pages to promote learner independence. Level Two Workbook provides handwriting practice and additional exercises to develop the pupils’ knowledge of the subject. At the bottom of the Workbook pages, there are boxes which show which page of the Student Book it provides practice for.
